in transit is a concept EP that chronicles the emotional journey of traveling back home. The recurring themes of nostalgia and movement appear throughout the track, as the autobiographical EP recounts a type of melancholy and grief felt by those who yearn for a place to call home, but feel like strangers to both their new destination and their place of origin, after having left out of necessity.

Each track represents a snapshot of a memory and the feelings derived during a trip back home. 'welcome home - حمدلله عالسلامة' is the opening track that represents nostalgia, warmth, and the comfort of feeling grounded in a familiar place. The title track 'in transit - عالطريق' evokes memories of late-night drives and the hazy melancholy of the nighttime. 'فجر' is an ambient reflective track that represents the internal conflict of being torn between two places. 'لوين؟' closes the EP with a submission to the end of the trip, a bittersweet moment of celebrating the trip and a reminder to cherish one's memories of home.
